| "The Old Men Shed" situated adjacent to the R&N Main Line and Vine Street in Tamaqua was once my home away from home as a kid. I spent many days hanging out at the playground (and sitting on the old railroad tie bench) here just waiting for some action on the rails. I was lucky to see some neat things back in the early 2000's and am grateful for the memories.
In this shot the northbound PNEX-16 is leaving the Yard Limits at Tamaqua and is beginning its assault on Locust Mountain with an empty Crude Oil train tugging on the drawbar. |
