A lot has changed here in Asheville yard. In the last few days, Blue Ridge Southern has changed all of their train symbols, what used to be T31 is now BLU 01. In the last few months, the historic roundhouse has been reduced to a steel frame. In the last year, BLU took over for Norfolk Southern operating the local branch lines. In the last decade, traffic decline has led to the empty yard seen here today.
