| A rather short Union Pacific North Platte to Roseville manifest makes its way downgrade between James and Elsey along the edge of the Sierra foothills. Here it passes under Highway 70, which has been its constant companion through the Feather River Canyon, and will continue to be till just south of Marysville. |
