"EMD Overload"
Four SD40-2's from three different railroads lead an empty ethanol train North past this rarely seen location on the CSX River Subdivison. The two buildings that are seen at this location are both subjects of interest. The building on top of the mountain is the West Point Military Academy museum and the building directly behind the train was the Highland Falls station when this line belonged to the NYC and saw passenger service. The station has since been rebuilt on the inside and now serves as a private residence. This photo was taken on private property with permission. |
