| A UP local freight has stopped right outside of North Platte in some very acceptable afternoon light to wait on an endless stream of coal and intermodal trains to pass. He would be here for quite a while because once one train passed, the headlights of another were already showing in both directions. Train traffic on the Kearney Subdivision is constant, making the area a railfan's paradise. |
