Remarks & Notes
As the sun sets in the west, you're looking over the nose of CSXT FP7 number 118 as it takes the deadhead move of the 1989 Santa Claus Special toward an overnight lay over in Shelby, KY. Tomorrow, the train will be heading back south with old Saint Nick, all his helpers, and 15 tons of candy, toys and other gifts. The dwarf signal showing red controls movements from the siding, while the green "Clear" signal is for the main. The small blue light to the right is a "doll mast" signal, which means there is an intervening track (the siding) between the controlling signal and the track it governs.

A growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom seen beauty of railroads in the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, lights are on! (I still find new "Lights In The Night"!)
