The Chelatchie Prairie Railroad runs from Chelatchie Prairie, Washington to Heisson, Washington... They are an all volunteer group of people who have restored this wonderful 2-8-2T... Today they were running a steam special for their annual Christmas Tree train from the small town of Yacolt, Washington to santa's village at Moultan falls... the train is seen here pulling up grade just leaving Moultan falls heading back to Yacolt, Washington, in a timeless scene, my dad brought out his 1930 Model A ford two door sedan for a few photo ops... The 2-8-2T was built just a year before the old car...... The weather was terrible, wet rainy and windy weather was probably some of the worst weather that we had here the whole year, but that didn't stop these great people ... They put on quite a show for all the little kids and big kids as well...
