| Outside of the EMD F and E unit line the GP30 is the best aesthetically styled locomotive EMD has produced, in my humble opinion. How can one argue when seeing restored Soo Line 700 kicking up a plentiful bow wave of snow in northern Minnesota during 2010. The red and white (light gray) paint on the SOO GP30s complemented the design quite well. |
