Remarks & Notes |
NdeM’s daily Train 52 operating 434 miles from Mexico City to Veracruz on the Gulf coast makes its stop at Esperanza, Puebla, where electric locos will take over for the 29-mile electrified descent down to Orizaba (note the catenary). Trains 51 and 52 still carried sleepers, and a dining/observation car at the time of this Aug. 29, 1962 photo. FP-7 6300 was rather spartan and plain with no rear-view mirrors or M.U. hoses. |
