Well, thanks to the beginning of a LOOONG weekend, I finally got around to shooting Amtrak's Phase III Cabbage #406 on the Mule (Amtrak train #313) last night. Due to the platform work at the depot, one of the tracks is out of service, forcing this train to be parked way at the end of the platform, so the Chief would have room to back in. Bad for passengers, GREAT for railfans. The Western Auto sign looming overhead is a Kansas City icon that seeming has to be worked into shots from this location.
