| Amtrak's Empire Builder does not concern bird life or a beachcomber as it slows for its station stop at Edmonds, Washington on its final lap into Seattle. Back in 2003 Amtrak offered reliable on time service on this route. Not so in 2014 where even with a schedule slowed to the point where a 6th train set has to be added, the westbound train can often run 5-6 hours late into Seattle. |
