Remarks & Notes
Pennsy's Chicago-Miami "South Wind," train 93, backs into Louisville Union Station after a morning run down from the Windy City. After the train's two Pennsy E8s are watered, the train will depart for Montgomery as L&N 15. There, ACL will take over for the rest of the trip. The "Wind" was an every-other-day operation most of its existence--north one day, south the next. It alternated with IC's "City of Miami" via Memphis and Birmingham.
