"Approaching Altoona Station"
The same day the veterans unit led the morning Eastbound Pennsylvanian, the Westbound had Amtrak 822, the Phase III heritage unit on point. Due to poor weather conditions an adequate photo was not attained of the Westbound but fortunately for us what goes West comes back East on this particular train. The following morning was picture perfect allowing for this shot of the Eastbound Pennsylvanian as it came into Altoona. |
