| Burlington Northern GP38-2 #2263 and MP15DC #1004, leading the Birmingham - Jasper (AL) local, pass freight cars cleared from an earlier derailment. #2263 was built June 1973 as Frisco (SLSF) #408. Unit later became Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) #2263. Burlington Northern MP15DC #1004 was built March 1975 as Frisco (SLSF) #365. After BN merger, unit was briefly re# 4004 prior to becoming #1004. Unit later became Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) #3704 |
