Idling away in Rio Grande's Fourth South Yard, D&RGW GP30 No. 3002 awaits its next assignment on July 5, 1995. It was built new for the Rio Grande by EMD in April 1962 and retired by the Union Pacific in July 1999. It would later be sold for scrap to Cycle Systems in Roanoke, Virginia by February 2001.
