With the Verso Mill in Bucksport, Maine having a tentative closure date of December 1st, area rail followers and photographers are putting a lot aside in order to get Bucksport Branch trains before the line is also embargoed. Without any other customers on the line, mill runs have been the only things keeping the line open for more than two decades. From just below the Orrington-Bucksport town line near MPB-14, BKNM was bringing mostly loads toward Northern Maine Junction on October 18, 2014.
