| Like many railfans, I find myself constantly torn over the endless forward march of technology in the rail industry. One the one hand, its the sign of strong, modern industry. But on the other hand, its saddening to go to a place like Allegheny and see the shuttered interlocking tower and old C&O signals laying on the ground bound for the scrapper. |
