| A Chicago to South Seattle Z train descends the long 1% grade from Quincy to Albus siding as it slows to 25 mph to negotiate Trinidad Loop (in the background). From late March to June, the usual brown landscape is replaced by lush green fed by melting winter snow and spring rains. |
