Remarks & Notes
This is the eastbound ("north" by railroad direction) run of the first successful operation of restored L&N 152 back in 1985. A previous run had to turn back when driver bearings ran hot, but the engine ran perfectly this time. She'll turn at Lexington, KY and head back to KRM's old site south of Anchorage on this, the former Eastern Kentucky Division of the L&N. Today this line is operated by RJ Corman. Notice the ex-Monon BL2, number 32, on the rear for protection. The second coach is painted in L&N blue, but it's an ex-Milwaukee Road car.
