| Southern Pacific No. 2472 rests in the Santa Clara yard on a warm July night. The locomotive is in town to take part in the National Railway Historical Society convention based in nearby San Jose. One trip would feature 2472 double-heading with former SP stablemate 4-8-4 No. 4449. |
