On Friday evening, September 19, the Pan Am Railways Maine Central and Boston & Maine heritage GP9s - Springfield Terminal 52 and 77 - are seen pulling a loaded ballast train off the Deerfield Loop track onto the Connecticut River Mainline at CP35. The pair would be the power for the ballast train for Saturday, September 20, before returning to East Deerfield yard on Sunday, September 21.
