Amtrak's since-discontinued Broadway Limited rolls downgrade on the east slope at MG Tower. This facility was open periodically at the time to handle crossovers between Gallitzin and Altoona, PA on the famed ex-Pennsy alignment over the Alleghenies. MG stood for "Mid Grade."
