Remarks & Notes

Electric locomotive Ge 4/4 III # 82 "Uri" of the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn for the car shuttle trains through the Furka base tunnel from Oberwald to Realp. Built in 1980 by SLM and BBC for the Furka-Oberalp-Bahn with 1700 kW and capable for 90 km/h. Togehter with sister # 81 the only mainline locomotive of the MGB not fitted with cogwheels for rack railway operations.
