A phase IV Dash 8 sits idle at the downtown San Antonio Amtrak station parallel to the tracks of Union Pacific's Del Rio Subdivision. This engine and its two bi-level superliners are awaiting the late night arrival of the Amtrak's "Sunset Limited" train so they can switch out cars.
