Remarks & Notes
Norton,VA-bound through freight 65 rolls into Loyall at the US 119 grade crossing at Emerling. This was a flag stop for the passenger train until it was discontinued in August 1958. The three Alcos are being assisted by a trailing EMD F-unit. The Interstate hoppers (empties) will be set off at Appalachia, VA.
