After delivering two covered hoppers and retrieving one from the grain elevator at Harrison, Montana, the branch line’s only customer, Montana Rail Links’s 844 local heads back to Sappington descending on a 2.2 percent mountain grade as clouds and rain break up a bit over the Tabacco Root Mountains.
