On the first afternoon of summer in the Cascade Mountains of Washington the Seattle section of the Empire Builder (westbound), Train 7, overtakes S STPTAC1 18A W at West Winton. The current BNSF melt-downs in North Dakota and Montana are causing major delays on the Empire Builder, it was running through here nearly ten hours down.
