| A Mari usque ad Mare. is latin for "from sea to sea", Canada's national motto. It is seen here under the cab of the recently returned to Exporail 'Dominion of Canada' steam engine. The restoration is absolutely beautiful and very well done, kudos to all those who took part in it. This crest is very classy and is a magnificent element of the restoration. As a Canadian and a member of the Canadian Railroad Historical Association I am very happy that this engine was returned to Canada and to Exporail, where it will soon take a central place in the main pavilion. |
