Remarks & Notes
Friends of the Rail's class 19D 4-8-2 with 6-axle vanderbilt tender, is hauling a short mixed train south of Cullinan, recreating a scene that would have been seen regularly on various branch lines around South Africa 40 or 50 years ago. The economy of the town of Cullinan is heavily dependant on the Cullinan Diamond Mine, visible on the horizon.
