Remarks & Notes
Northbound FEPASA freight train, #50.010 Talca - Alameda (Santiago), crossing the beautiful Rio Claro viaduct, near Itahue town, Molina city. This locomotive is E-3208, electric locomotive of Italian origin. Built especially for the railroads of Chile by the Italian consortium "Breda Marelli" in Milan - Italy. They were 34 locomotives in operation in the early 1960s for "FFCC del E". Wonderful machines of 3600 HP. He became known both in Chile and abroad as the "Sophia Loren", for its beautiful curves and Italian origin, in honor of the beautiful and curvy actress. Currently there are only four locomotives operated by FEPASA for cargo transport (E-3208, E-3217, E-3223. E-3227), and one E-32 locomotive (E-3209) operated by EFE (State railways of Chile).
