A view from Skihist Provincial Park near Lytton, British Columbia, sees a westbound Canadian Pacific freight on Canadian National tracks along this treacherous section of the Thompson River Canyon. CN has some issues with the mountain sliding off onto the right-of-way in this area, as can be seen with twin scars of loose rock towering above the power. Directional running expedites trains through the Fraser and Thompson Canyons, with CP transporting eastbounds, and CN the westbounds between Mission (east of Vancouver) and Basque (west of Ashcroft).
