Or DOD 1401. I am not sure what the real nomenclature on this unit was but it and 001 were the queens of the fleet, immaculately maintained and specially painted. This old SP horse got lucky in retirement. The most they ever pulled was probably 6-8 cars, empties. Note: 1st units built with lo short hoods.
