WM 7595 sits at Chessie System's Cumberland Shops along with BO 4041, a GP40. The unit is in need of work, and in the fall of 1981 the economy was such that it was likely to sit here for awhile. Meantime, a couple Chessie GP9s look on in the background, appearing more road worthy than their younger mate. By 1984 WM 7595 was wearing the yellow Chessie scheme.
