Canadian Pacific run-thru container train R202 led by CP SD40 5413 (exQNS&L), M636 4710 and high hood B-unit 5479 (ex SOU Ry) roll across CSX's Grand River Bridge at Grande Ledge, MI. The bridge, built by the Pere Marquette in 1904, served the PM until it was merged into the Chesapeake & Ohio in June, 1947. CSX trains continue using the structure today on their Detroit-Grand Rapids route but in 2005 most CP Detroit-Chicago run-thru freights switched to NS trackage rights and this colorful era ended.
