| Even with all of the new (largely GE) power that BNSF has purchased in the last 15 years, SD70MACs still run hard and can often be found on coal trains headed to or coming from the Powder River Basin. For this EMD fan, it is great to catch a pair of SD70MACs on the point of a coal train every once in awhile, such as this pair leading an empty around the southern edge of Palmer Lake toward Main 2. |
