Remarks & Notes

CP 4744 was the only M640 ever produced and the most powerful diesel locomotive ever produced by MLW thanks to its 18 Cylinder 251F engine which produced 4,000 horsepower. It is preserved at Exporail, alongside another MLW product, rotary plow CN CN 55361 seen at the left. For more train photos, click here.
