"Welcome to White Plains" says this Metro-North bridge over Route 119 with letters in a color so similar to that of the rest of the bridge, you have to look pretty close to notice them. The suburban White Plains "city skyline" is often mocked by residents of NYC for being impressively unimpressive. Of course, this train will be underground for most of its time in Manhattan...
