Remarks & Notes

The northbound Coast Starlight coasts along the Pacific Ocean on its way to Seattle. The train will be to Santa Barbara in short order. Note the recently overhauled Surfliner F59PHI locomotive running as second unit. This is due so a recent series of locomotive failures that have plagued the Starlight for several weeks now.
