| BNSF's twice weekly Pikes Peak Local to south of Colorado Springs is only two miles from the end of the fifty plus mile climb south out of Denver and was passing the "sag", a short streatch of near level track where heavy southbound trains stop when they are not lined over the top of the Palmer Divide at Palmer Lake |
