| A cold and foggy winter day greets Seaboard Coast Line 1st 188, operating as Extra 1644 North, crossing the (original) NS diamond at Raleigh Tower while the engineer prepares to negotiate some tight curves and a 10 MPH crossover as train arrives Raleigh. On the parallel secondary track is a SOU Ry. ribbon-rail train which will unload on the (original) NS in the next couple of days. |
