| During the event "Rottweiler Dampftage" (Rottweil Steam Days) of the Eisenbahnfreunde Zollernbahn (EFZ), the heavy four cylinder compound cog wheel steamlocomotive 97 501 (0-10-0) of "Freunde der Zahnradbahn Honau-Lichtenstein" (Friends of the cogwheel railway from Honau to Lichtenstein) was operational again after hard work during 26 years, and used for cab rides. The "Würtembergische Hz" locomotive was built by Maschinenfabrik Esslingen in 1922 for the line from Honau to Lichtenstein near Reutlingen. The second locomotive in this picture is 86 333 of the Wutachtalbahn. |
