| Union Pacific EMD SD24 No. 446 sits with GE U30C No. 2927 on the west side of the North Platte Diesel Shop in July 1984. No. 446 was originally built as SD24 demonstrator No. 7201 dressed in Southern Pacific colors in August 1960, but was purchased a year later by UP. Locomotive No. 2927 was a later-built U30C that UP added new to the fleet in 1976. |
