Remarks & Notes |
What a place for a railwaystation and a restaurant! Rushhour at the station Pilatus Kulm (2073 meters over sealevel): one railcar from the Pilatusbahn (Alpnachstad - Pilatus Kulm), the world's steepest cogwheel railway (48%), stands in the upper station. The second one arrives in a few seconds. The third railcar has left the 'Fleimen-Tunnel'. The peak on the right side is called Esel (=donkey). The photo is taken from the Matthorn (not Matterhorn), 2041 meters over sealevel |
