Originally the Louisville, St. Louis & Texas Railway, aka "the Texas", it still lives on as CSX's preferred automotive routing between Louisville and St. Louis. Amazingly enough, the swing bridge is still active, as the Green River gets a fair amount of barge traffic from coal, petroleum coke and aluminum ore.
