| A "Catfish" smokes and sands it up as it gets back underway on the point of train 167 heading south down the CNO&TP. 167 had gotten held to allow hotshot 229 with Veterans 6920 on the point to pass it at Georgetown, KY. The remains of the pillars from the old Southern style GRS signals sit just to the left of the train. In a somewhat rare occurrence, 9655 is equipped with an RS5T horn as was the 6920 that just passed it. The sound from both trains was nothing short of glorious on this beautiful, cool November Kentucky morning. |
