Mainline Steam Trunk Trekker excursion to National Park is in full steam along Ongarue River valley between Te Kuiti and Taumarunui. This annual winter day trip is the longest in NZ at almost 19 hours duration! Oil fired Ja 1275 was built in 1951 by North British, Glasgow, Scotland.
