| On a fantastic Oct. afternoon N&W 675 sits at the point of the museum excursion consist ready for the upcoming weekend runs that will take passengers on an 11 mile round trip between the museum grounds here at Versailles to Young's High Bridge across the KY River at Tyrone. Anyone who ever enjoyed the museums steam excursions from Lexington to Chattanooga in the 80's may recognize the baggage car to the right of the photo. That's Southern 501, used as a concession car on many of the museums sponsored trips. These trips provided the seed money to get the museum started and running on more than just ideas and dreams. |
