Remarks & Notes
Three Amtrak P42's and a rebuilt P40 lead a special 28 car train made up of entirely privately owned passenger cars. This train was built up in Seattle, and terminate in Napa, California for the American Association of Private Railroad Car Owners (AAPRCO) convention on October 1-3rd, 2013. This is the first time that I know of that Amtrak units have traveled through the Yakima Canyon in the past 30 years.
