| The Cremallera de Núria (Rack Railway into the Nuria Valley) give access to the abbey located in Núria. In addition Núria is a summer hiking/winter skiing paradise.
The line starts in Ribes de Freser on 905m and ends in Núria on 1964m above sealevel. The climb is done with help of teh type Abt rack system. Here we could see the 1984 swiss SLM built EMU A5 "Puigmal" on e descend near Núria. |
