Remarks & Notes
During the summer of 1996, the 199 was used as a protect unit and was spotted in the yard with sister unit 193 in the background. Amtrak had all 8 GP40TCs (192-199) rebuilt into GP38H-3s and moved into the 520 number series.

Once home to Delaware & Hudson's corporate headquarters, today Albany is home to Amtrak's Maple Leaf, Adirondack and NY Regional Trains. This album is a behind the scenes tour of the complex. Thanks to all photographers who contributed to this album.

Things change. Railroads are no different. A collection of images showing the railroads as they used to be.
Things that were once Canadianized.

Now that so many American and South American railways are buying old Canadian locos with the bell above the windshield and details like that, that old fashion is disappearing too fast, and not to mention eco rebuild programs.
